Version 10.6 - Chios' Defense Force!

In this update, we're starting up the Management Side Mode for Chapter 2, as well as continuing on Eisheth's Side Story!

This update lays the ground work for all of the upcoming content in the management mode, as I finally have all of the systems laid out for future story expansions throughout Chios.

The Chapter 2 Management Mode will have you fighting back against the forces of the Infinite in order to maintain stability in the city. In order to fight back, you'll need to gather and hire employees, which are primarily found through Missions. Missions are shorter form quests that allow you to spread your influence around the city, and meet new people! These will also help you accumulate resources to keep your business expanding!

Now that basically all of the backend planning/asset gathering has been finished, adding content to the Management mode will be significantly more streamlined, so expect a lot of Missions to be developed quickly in the upcoming updates!

Along with the Management Mode additions, this update also has a continuation of Eisheth's side story. These new scenes hint to what a highly requested returning character from Chapter 1 has been up to in the Cascade Event, and I'm certain it won't be the last we've seen of her ;) You'll also get to learn what happened to Tsumi, and learn more about Pela's true plans.

If content feels a bit light for this patch, it's because I finally took a few days off from both my 9-5 and DbNb (for the first time since the game went public!), and most of the update focused on backend change and getting assets together. I've got a BIG story beat that I've had planned for over a year ready for next update, so get excited!
